I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, probably since I was old enough to discover crayons could leave marks on walls. During my teenage years, I taught myself how to draw portraits by attentively rendering photos of my favorite moviestar crushes. Later, as I began to explore my interests in the philosophy of religion, archetypes and mythology, metaphysics, and the healing arts, these concepts began emerging in my artwork. Art became a means of expressing my own self discovery and evolving philosophy of life.
A deep inner calling has led me to live in the woods in Hocking Hills, where nature inspires me daily. I designed the log home my husband, three cats, and I now live in, and I consider it to be one of my better works of art.
